[Computer Safety Tips] A voicemail system at its most basic is an answering machine but many voice mail systems are much more advanced. Some features generally found with voice mail include a place to store messages for future delivery, voice introduction to forwarded messages, using different greetings depending on the caller, transfer calls to another number, sending messages to more then one voice mailbox, answering any phone at the same time and paging another number if you receive a message.
