Conversation Agent: In a podcast with Anna Farmery of The Engaging Brand earlier last week I also discussed branding and the art of conversation. If you have twenty minutes and are curious about my Italian accent, that is an interesting dialogue on how brands are evolving and how conversation opens up a new space for internal engagement in companies, as well as resonance in the marketplace. http://blogs.flyertalk.com [Blogs.flyertalk.com] View From the Wing: Now, Northwest only offers 2 at 120,000 miles and 2 more at 160,000 miles flown (compared to 6 for United and 8 for American at 100,000 miles) but Northwest's certificates appear to come out of revenue inventory so you're not jockeying or waitlisting for a seat. That's a real start, and finally a reason to fly Northwest if you do more than just domestic travel (where the only real benefit to the program has been complimentary domestic upgrades).

[Herot.typepad.com] Christopher Herot's Weblog:  The winning paper “The Wiki and the Blog: Toward a Complex Adaptive Intelligence Community,” by Calvin Andrus awakened the community to the potential of social software and led to the creation of the Intellipedia, a classified wiki. It turns out that blogs and wikis are not just useful for disseminating information, but also for identifying what is important - as the number of internal links to an article grows, it rises in page rank and thus becomes more visible to other analysts and decision makers.
