So Apple turned to AT&T and AT&T turned out to be the innovator AGAIN with allowing major changes so that the iPhone with the help of AT&T could be a market changer.

Also Verizon would have to cede a lot of control to Apple which they do not like doing with any handset manufacturer, so we will see but it's pretty doubtful in my mind.

[Brainstorm Tech: Technology blogs, news and analysis from Fortune Magazine » Apple 2.0] Meet Seth the blogger guy, AT&T's answer to angry iPhone owners ...: I would like to say on behalf of AT&T,,,I think they have done a better job than most providers….Remember,,Iphone takes up a big percentage of Bandwith than any other smart phone…this has overloaded ATT network…They have shown that there are upgrading and building out more cell sites to fix the problem in areas that has poor network…NOT all areas have this problem…Now could Verizon have done better…the answer is NO>..Again the bandwith for the smart phone (IPHONE) is greater than anyother smartphone. So to the defense of ATT..people that are complaining on this board,,are probably people that had to switch to ATT network to use the IPHONE..
