[Random Mumblings] That's the real killer about voicemail: it takes much longer to deal with the voicemail than the original message. People ramble. They say their phone number veryquicklyindeedinonebreath. They mumble. They use phones that seem to be located underwater. It's all wasted time. Ubuntu Linux supports Skype? Not today”¦.

[Seb’s Random Thoughts] A few minutes later after exiting and re-opening Skype I tried to call my linux-guru and it said ringing, and then call duration started but neither of us could hear each other. I rebooted the system, it did not fix it and then I uninstalled Skype, rebooted, and reinstalled and it still does not work.

Vonage and D-Link team for VTA phone adaptor

[Parking Lot] I’m fond of saying that I’m the last consultant in the world without a cell phone. While that is true for business, my partner and I have one that we use for personal purposes. And because we use it so infrequently (mostly for emergencies or urban logistics when we’re in the big city) we have it hooked on to a prepaid plan from fido.
